El nuevo saxofón alto YAS-875EX Custom EX marca un gran paso de progreso para el diseño de saxofones. Ofrece a los instrumentistas un caudal abundante de nuevas posibilidades musicales, el nuevo Custom EX ha sido diseñado en colaboración con algunos de los saxofonistas más talentosos del mundo, entre otros Nobuya Sugawa, Jean-Yves Fourmeau y Otis Murphy. Custom G1 neck adds richness and fullness to the sound.
YAS-875EX Neck receiver
The nickel silver custom style neck receiver provides a condensed tone and good response with a high rigidity. It has the flexibility to choose between the necks designed for the Custom Z and Custom EX Yamaha saxophones (sold separately).
Octave key with a ball joint to realize utmost smoothness
The octave key has a unique new ball joint design for smoother, quicker action. The new neck receiver improves the tonal resonance.
875 shape with custom brass
875 series adopts an innovative body shape which is unique to Yamaha. This produces a moderate resistance and solid tone. The material is optimized for custom models.
Integrated key posts
This style of key posts adds a moderate resistance and makes the instrument sound as you blow into it.
Adjustable tear drop front F key
The unique tear-drop shaped F key improves playability. It is adjustable to players' preferences.
Mother of pearl key button
Mother of pearl is used as key buttons. It improves playability by making it easier to hold with soft but not slippery surface.
Seesaw key
The left-hand seesaw key has been designed to increase playability as well as provide a more comfortable feel.
Two-point contact
Two-point contact is adopted for enhanced projection and a free-blowing response.
One-piece bell
Crafsmen shape the bell from a sheet of brass with a hammer. This adds a unity to the body and makes the intonation in middle to lower range smoother. It also has a solid tone.
Hand-engraved lily with Custom EX logo
The Custom EX saxophone features a new ‘lily’ engraving design which is hand engraved on every instrument. Custom EX logo is the proof of craftmanship.
Bell-ring
Bell rings supports the instrument to vibrate well when players blow into it.
